Help our local parters realise their vision of hope for their communities
As a Human Geography undergraduate seeking to gain valuable experience in my year in industry, working both virtually and physically in the HART office, with such an inspiring team, was monumental for my personal development. I will always cherish my time at HART and view it as one of the best decisions I've ever made, as it has solidified my desire to embark on a career which is both inspiring and rewarding.
HART interns support aid and advocacy by helping with fundraising, admin, research, social media, video editing or coordinating the HART Prize for Human Rights.

What former interns say
My internship at HART was an amazing first step into my career in the third sector. From day one I was given meaningful and interesting tasks and was encouraged to contribute like a full time staff member. My opinions and ideas were respected and I immediately felt like a valued member of the team.
Being a HART intern allowed me to channel my interests and passions into actual work, outside of academic study, by engaging with actions that created positive change in the real world.
I feel as if I’ve learned new skills and gained valuable experience as I enter the field of humanitarianism and development. HART is an institution like no other – providing aid and support to its partners to areas at the right time and in the right place – where it is needed most.
