A celebration of Life

Gifts in Memory

Gifts in Memory

Giving in memory can be a wonderful way of celebrating a life.

When a loved one is lost, friends and family may feel the need to donate to a good cause which shares the values of the person they loved. There are a number of ways to make gifts in memory to the work of HART:

One-off gift
If a collection has been taken at a funeral, or if any individuals ask how or where they can make a donation, HART can put it to good use. When making the donation, simply state that it is a gift given in memory, giving details of the deceased person.

Set up a fund
If many people express a wish to give in memory, a fund can be set up in the person’s name so that the donations can be added together. Please contact the office at the address below to set up a fund.

Book of Remembrance
The gift will be personally acknowledged by our Founder and CEO Baroness Cox and your loved-one’s name will be written in the Book of Remembrance which is kept at the HART offices. In the case of In Memory Funds, the names of the donors will be listed underneath the name of the person who inspired the fund.
