All Sudan Demo
Saturday 30th June 2018 , 13:00
Embassy of Sudan
Protesting Poor Governance in Sudan
Organised by HART, Waging Peace, STAND and the Sudanese diaspora in the UK.
The UK government is bedding down with the Sudanese government in ‘strategic dialogue’ despite its head of state, Omar al Bashir, being indicted by the International Criminal Court on counts of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. We are all for talking but will the Sudanese government listen? And will the UK government listen to us? Human rights, humanitarian access and equal citizenship must be central to this dialogue. We need transparency from the UK government that these benchmarks are being met.
