HART Carol Concert

The HART Christmas Carol Concert is an annual celebration featuring music from HART_CarolPoster_Web+Social_Nov2015around the world.


This year, we are delighted to welcome three world-class choirs: the Armenian Komitas Choir, the Ugandan Acholi London Choir and the St Martin Singers. We are also delighted to welcome our partner Canon Hassan John and his colleague Justice, who will be giving a short address.

There will also be a selection of carols and readings. Refreshments will be served during the interval.

All are welcome and admission is free. A collection will be taken at the end of the service to cover costs and to support our work with oppressed and persecuted people around the world.

About the Choirs…

Ugandan Acholi London Choir

The Acholi London Christian Fellowship Choir was formed to transform the lives of poor, hard to reach, neglected, traumatised children and communities in the UK and in war ravaged communities such as Northern Uganda through active participation and advancement in music. Their aim is to establish grounds for reconciliation and love for one another through music and advocate for the well-being of children and communities in oppressive and neglected environment.

Armenian Komitas Choir

The Komitas Choir, named after one of the founders of Armenian classical music, was the first Armenian professional choir in the UK. The Komitas Choir’s repertory includes a wide variety of songs including folk, classical, spiritual, international.

The St Martin Singers

The Saint Martin Singers are a friendly group of around twenty to thirty singers aged from 18 to 80. They sing a capella music in aid of a wide variety of charities.
