‘NKR has to be part of negotiations’: Baroness Caroline Cox sits down with Armedia

5 October 2016

Our very own founder and president Baroness Caroline Cox recently sat down with the Armenian press organisation Armedia to discuss the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence and ongoing conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Baroness recently visited Nagorno-Karabakh and celebrated the Lady Cox Rehabilitation Centre’s 18th birthday. She said this of the ongoing peace negotiations: “I hope Minsk Group will see the reality and will come up with just and fair recommendations. My position has always been based on two fundamental principles: first of all NKR has to be part of negotiations in the future and the second, people of Karabakh have to be given the right of self-determination. They have to be recognized internationally and  respected.”
