HART is committed to defending this human right. Among the communities we serve, freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) is a central pillar of peace. FoRB promotes respect, protects minorities and celebrates difference.
Earlier today, we submitted a response to a United Nations consultation about FoRB. We focus on the crisis in central Nigeria, where our local partners (pictured above) help warring parties to reconcile their differences. They promote tolerance and respect through interfaith mediation and education.
