Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors

We are looking for Student Ambassadors to join our mission!

We need creative, motivated and passionate people to become ambassadors of HART and to champion the work of our partners.

If you are interested in doing your part for the international community, this is the role for you!

Open to all students in University or Sixth Form, this is a fantastic way for you to gain experience and help the neglected communities that HART works with.

About HART

Founded by Baroness (Caroline) Cox, HART’s mission is to support people suffering from conflict and persecution in places where there is no outside help or international attention. By combining aid with advocacy, we aim to facilitate humanitarian relief and foster sustainable development – giving the local people the capacity and means to bring about long-lasting change. Find out more.

About the Role

As an ambassador, your role will be to champion and support HART’s mission at your university or school. Help to encourage your peers to learn about human rights violations and take action to create a positive impact in our world. We are looking for representatives who are reliable, creative and organised with excellent communication skills to help us shout about the injustices our partners face.

This is an active role for 1 year, with the aim to:

  • Raise £1,000 for HART’s partners
  • Organise 2 awareness-raising events or talks
  • Promote HART events and initiatives

We will support you with organising talks, events and fundraising challenges so you can raise much-needed awareness and funds for HART’s partners. All ambassadors will be invited to training in our London offices and be able to receive continuous support from a dedicated mentor throughout the year. Are you up for the challenge?

Ambassadors that reach their targets will be rewarded with tea in the House of Lords with HART founder Baroness Cox, and one week of work experience in the HART office.

To Apply

Please send the completed application form and your CV to office@hart-uk.org. We want to know why you are interested in this role and how you will work with us to promote HART’s partners.

The deadline for applications is Friday 19th October 2018. Training in London is likely to take place on Monday 12th November.

Get in touch if you have any questions.  Good luck and we look forward to welcoming you to the HART team!
