HART Patron, Fiona Bruce MP, has introduced a Bill to strengthen the UK’s response to violations of religious freedom.
Fiona is a specialist on this subject, having served as the Prime Minister’s special envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief since 2020. Her common-sense Bill will improve Government processes and, in turn, make a big difference to victims of oppression and persecution. We give it our full support!
Freedom of religion or belief is a foundational right, but sadly violations of it are increasing across the world, by countries at scale, by terror groups and mobs, and through abuses against individuals imprisoned for their beliefs who so boldly and bravely stand and suffer for their faith.
