We are looking for a Volunteer English Teacher for Loi Tai Leng School in Myanmar.

Situated in Shan State, eastern Myanmar, Loi Tai Leng School currently has 700 students, of whom 400 are boarders. Due to the conflict in Shan State, many of the students are orphans.

In January 2019 HART provided funding for a dam to be built in the valley below Loi Tai Leng School, which has since facilitated a fish farm, irrigation and an agricultural education programme for students. The School’s Headmaster, Su Meh Na, now identifies an English teacher as the school’s greatest need.

The ideal candidate will be available for 3-6 months. The volunteer must be able to fund their overseas travel to Myanmar. Loi Tai Leng School will then cover the cost of internal transport, food and accommodation.

If you are interested, please download the full job description below for more information.

To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to Miss Ziallo Gogui at ziallo.gogui@hart-uk.org
