Baroness Cox talks humanitarian crisis in South Sudan

5 July 2018

On the 4th of July, Baroness Cox (crossbench) talks in the House of Lords and asks the UK Government how they will respond to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in South Sudan.

Lord Bates (the Minister of State for DfID) noted HART’s work in the debate stating; “The noble Baroness, Lady Cox, again drew on her personal experiences and the incredible work of HART in caring for those in need. She raised questions about how we can improve the way we get emergency funding into crisis situations and work to do more on peacebuilding and conflict prevention”.
