HART is deeply concerned and saddened to hear of yet another mass school kidnapping in Kaduna Province in the early hours of Friday morning. This is part of the long-standing violence that has been affecting the north of Nigeria for the last two decades, and which in recent years has spread to other areas of the country.
Meanwhile, our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of these kidnappings and their families; with our partners in Northern and Middle Belt regions of the country; and with the hundreds of thousands of people who are being affected by this on-going violence.
