HART’s Christmas Carol Service and Concert

6 December 2017

On Tuesday 5th December, we held our annual Christmas Carol Concert and Service, this year taking place at St Cyprian’s Church.

Throughout the evening we heard from three different choirs; The Komitas Choir, The London Acholi Choir and The Saint Martin Singers, who all performed beautifully. The Christmas Carols were accompanied by the organist Peter Jaekal and there were several readings from different members of the HART team.

Trustee Jo Russell also gave a short talk about her recent visit to Burma where she visited a refugee camp with our partner SWAN. She highlighted the desperate need for food and funds for 6,200 Shan people who have fled from their homes in order to escape the aggressive advances of the Burmese military.

We are delighted to announce we raised just under £2,000 through generous donations and sales. We are grateful as ever for your on-going support of HART and our inspirational partners who are fighting for the freedoms and safety we take for granted every day.
