Syria
The UN has said its “worst fears are coming true” as 3 million people are trapped in Idlib, which was attacked by Russia in the first “major assault in months”, 11 million people across the country are currently in need of humanitarian assistance as hostilities continue, and a Human Rights Watch report has investigated cases of detainment and disappearance in Daraa, Eastern Ghouta, and southern Damascus.
