On 19th May 2021, in the House of Lords debate on the Queen’s Speech and UK Foreign Policy, HART Founder and CEO Baroness Cox urged the UK Government that any measures taken regarding Burma/Myanmar must include urgent help and protection for the people of Mindat, Chin State, who have been under attack from the ruling military junta, and the provision of cross border aid and collaboration with local leaders and NGOs so aid can reach those who truly need it. She also urged the Government to support Armenia after recent offensives by Azerbaijan.
